Women are complex human beings which have different character with men. Women’s gentleness always pretended as their weakness, paradoxically such gentleness are their strength. This artwork raised up women issue when they become objects and subjects. Women are creatures which close to pain - pain as the object, when they become victims of harassment , and pain as subject when they voluntarily accept the pain : delivering a baby to become a mother.
This project titled THE SACRED SCREAM is a closing of the trilogy series of A DRIP OF RED MEANS A LOT. The work talks about pain and disappointment which related to blood. 'A Drip of Red' as a metaphor of blood then 'Means a Lot' as the metaphor of the meaningful of pain, struggle, and rigidity.
