As the world always changes and develops, then human follows the changes. Since the development of communication technology, in this case social media facility, then human behavior and life style also change. Social media features, which facilitates the convenience to communicate and interact remotely, also sharing activities by posting images such as photos, videos, and else, have created a new habit which gives discretion for each individual to unveil themself. The consequences then, the boundaries between the private and public domains became blurred.
As a human being, people behavior nowadays, tends to share their private life and activities to public openly as a self-disclosure or make it privately for limited friends as a self-boundary. Before social media, the private life is belong to private and not to be shared. But in present life, sharing private life becomes a new sensation that gives satisfaction both to the revealer and the observer. For revealers, they get satisfaction from the validation of observers, and for observers they get satisfaction from surveillance of other people's lives.
“A Short Story about Intimate Space – part#4”, is the artist response to the exhibition concept theme – human interest – shown as four drawings in illustrative approach, where this series serve as one story.
