This artwork is part of Reclaiming Domesticity project presents in the form of paintings on canvas, featuring vertical and horizontal lines that appear intact, clean and simple, and use solid colors, thus brings to mind the concept of De Stijl.
The vertical and horizontal stripes pattern, inspired by universal napkin pattern commonly used for household purposes. This work seeks to elevate the value of Napkin as a domestic symbol, so that domestic works will be more appreciated and gain higher value.
Earlier series about this work, were made from ceramic material, and first time exhibited at Gallery 1, Xinying Culture Center, Xinying District, Tainan, Taiwan - for “Special Exhibition of Female Creation : Let's Swing”, together with many Taiwanese Female Artists in 2019.
