It will take a long process for an artist to find their identity in their artworks until later became iconic works. Sadly, in capitalism world, artworks have been treated merely as industry’s products. Many artworks that belong to legendary artists, have been forged and multiplied, moreover their artworks style pattern were ‘stolen’ to be used as decorations for functional items such as branded bag using style of Kusama’s, Mondrian’s, and many more.

For some urban societies, ‘art’ has become a ‘new lifestyle’ which is elite, intellect, and luxurious. The ‘art trade’ activities are increasing,  as can be seen from the growth of commercial art galleries and ‘art fair’, which also followed by the societies’ enthusiasm to visit those art events.

Commercial gallerists, tend to present artworks which are ‘eye pleasing’ , because they understand that public who come to their gallery or trough art-fairs, prefer treat art as ‘fun’ things.

This issue became a dilemma between idealism and the reality of life. Artists then strategizing for survival, by creating artworks that are more easily accepted by the market.

The work of “Seni Cepat Saji” (Instant Art) - which presenting pop art style visuals - is a satire that to fit-in to the consumerism urban life style that lulled by popular culture, then creating art instantly  become an option to simply fill a hungry stomach.
