The artwork is about interpreting the essence of love :
"LOVE is never ending repetition of Happiness and Sorrow that separated by just a piece of thread."
Love is a universal matter that gifted to human being by the Almighty. Love is human’s relation to their family, friends, lovers; to all living things, and to nature. Love also represents emotions - happy, joyful, excited, wound, sad, hurt. Love is the expectation of happiness, but Love is also the experienced of wound.
Broken Heart, is a wound or the wounded heart. Happiness becomes less meaningful if we never feel hurt, whereas sadness becomes bland if we never feel happy. It's just like numb.
The artwork of "Sehelai Benang Saja", invites us to dare to Love; dare to scatter Love; dare to share Love. Being hurt is to be happy, and being happy is dare to be hurt. Well, that’s Love!
The sense of sadness happened when there is different perspective in Loving, whereas the sense of happiness happened when there is equal perspective in Loving.

Ceramicist Nia Gautama opened the exhibition with her art performance. Dressed in red, the artist sat on a white desk scattered with dozens of red roses and an earthen heart. She slowly tore out petals from the roses and broke the heart into pieces. Inside it was a piece of paper with words "happiness" and "sorrow."

Besides the main attraction which is the art installation, during the opening that took place on Thursday (02/09/17), there was also a performance art by Nia Gautama. She used roses and a clay figure of a heart as objects, and it was combined with a theatrical performance.
